Train-the-Facilitator: Learn to Lead an Anti-Bias Lunch Break
You can become a facilitator for Anti-Bias Lunch Breaks! This training is designed for those who have already participated in an ENHANCE Anti-Bias Lunch Break and are now ready to take the next step: leading these important conversations in their own departments or units.
By joining this facilitator training, you will:
✅ Learn how to use the existing training script and guide an Anti-Bias Lunch Break session in your own unit. A clasical anti-bias session takes 60 minutes.
✅ Gain practical tools to create an open and reflective space for participants.
✅ Feel confident addressing topics like implicit bias, microaggressions, and intersectionality.
✅ Contribute to a more inclusive and aware community within the ENHANCE Alliance and beyond. The training is interactive, with practical exercises and discussions to prepare you for facilitating engaging and impactful sessions.
No prior facilitation experience is needed—just your willingness to foster meaningful dialogue!
Meeting on Zoom
The meeting will take place on Zoom (the link will be shared before the event).
✨ “Very thought-provoking! The workshop offers a great introduction to implicit bias and microaggressions. It made me reflect on my everyday interactions and I truly believe everyone should experience this — even (or especially) if you think this doesn’t apply to you.” - A participant
🌍 “The session was short but powerful. It helped me see my own biases in a new light and made me realize how important it is to act, not just think, about privilege and inclusion. I wish more of my colleagues would join — this is a conversation that benefits everyone.” A participant
Expected learning outcomes
What will you learn?
Anti-Bias Lunchbreaks follow a comprehensive script that has been continuously improved after each session since its introduction. This script provides a step-by-step guide for the 60-minute sessions. You will be introduced to this script and learn how to use it effectively. Additionally, you will explore non-formal learning methods and key principles for facilitating discussions in a respectful and inclusive way, ensuring a safe and open space for participants.
After the session, you will have access to the script so that you can use it for your own anti-bias session.
Prequisites
Who can join?

We look forward to supporting you in bringing implicit bias awareness to your team!
